FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions most often asked by companies and candidates.

How long does the process take, from application to departure?
Timing varies by trade and destination country, typically 3 to 9 months, including selection, training, certification and visa steps.
Who covers visa and travel costs?
Arrangements are defined case by case with the partner company at contract stage.
Are candidates trained before departure?
Yes, each candidate follows technical training and, if needed, an intensive professional English course.
How does a company verify the reliability of profiles?
Each candidate is assessed, documents are verified, and a readiness score (% Ready) summarizes their preparation level.
Does applying cost the candidate anything?
Submitting an application and the initial assessment are free. Details on who covers training and administrative steps are shared with each candidate before any commitment.
What happens if a candidate does not pass certification?
The candidate receives additional coaching and retakes the assessment. They are only presented to an employer once the readiness criteria are met.
What documents do I need to provide as a candidate?
An ID or passport, a CV, any diplomas or certificates you have, and a photo. Additional documents may be requested depending on the trade and destination country.
Can a company recruit several profiles in a single request?
Yes, the request form lets you indicate the number of profiles needed, and our team organizes candidate presentations accordingly.
Does support stop once the candidate arrives at the employer?
No. The final step of our method, follow-up, provides ongoing support for both the candidate and the company after placement, to ensure a smooth integration.
Which countries does GlobalWorkReady place candidates in?
Our candidates are prepared for roles in Europe, Canada, the United States and the Middle East, depending on partner companies’ needs.
