This page explains what information GlobalWorkReady collects on this website, what it is used for, who has access to it, and how you stay in control of it.
Who processes your data
GlobalWorkReady is the international recruitment service of the GK General Merchant group (registered name: G-Kingdom General Merchant), based in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. Any request regarding your data should be sent to the contact address shown in the footer and on the Contact page.
What we collect, and nothing else
Application form: last name, first name, date of birth, country, city, phone, WhatsApp, email address, target sector and occupation, languages spoken, countries of mobility, whether you hold a passport, immediate availability, experience, photo, CV, diplomas and, if you provide one, the link to your introduction video.
Employer form: company name, country, city, HR contact name, email address, phone, sector, number of profiles required, occupation, expected skills, working language, driving licence, desired start date and comments.
Contact form: name, email address and message.
Audience measurement: a randomly generated visit identifier (gwr_vid cookie), the address of the page viewed, the page you came from, the browser, the device type and the display language. No IP address is stored, and none of this is sent to any third-party service.
What this information is used for
Applications are used to assess your file, to direct you to the right training, and to introduce you to employers likely to recruit your profile. Employer requests are used to propose profiles matching your need. Contact messages are used to reply to you. Audience measurement is used only to know which pages of the site are being read.
On what basis
Processing is based on your explicit consent, given by ticking the box provided before submitting the form. You may withdraw it at any time: see “Your rights” below.
Who has access
Files are consulted by authorised GlobalWorkReady staff, through a password-protected back office. A candidate file is shared with an employer only as part of an introduction, and only for the items relevant to the position concerned. Your documents (CV, diplomas, photo) are never published on the site: they can only be reached through a signed link, specific to each file.
For how long
A file is kept for as long as needed to follow up your application and the introductions that result from it. You may ask for it to be deleted at any time, without having to give a reason.
Your rights
You may ask to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to withdraw your consent. Write to the site contact address, stating the name and email address used in your application.
Cookies used
Three cookies only: gwr_locale (remembers the language you chose, one year), gwr_vid (anonymous visit identifier for audience measurement, one year) and the PHPSESSID session cookie (duration of the visit, required for form security). No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.
What this site is not
GlobalWorkReady is neither a visa agency nor a seller of “guaranteed departure”. Submitting an application guarantees neither a job, nor a visa, nor a departure.
